Aisha Jamila Hinds is a famous American actor. She is known for her role in the TV show The Shield, and True Blood. In the years since her first appearance, she has shown her range of talents by appearing on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. First noticed in 2005 for the character of Anna, as seen on Assault on Precinct 13 It was however her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biography film All the Way, which gave her the respect she deserved as an actress. Hind was also recognized for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that 9-1-1 is scheduled to be renewed for a second season. Hind recently wrapped up filming on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will be released at the beginning of 2019. His mother Krishnaraj was an Army scientist who died in March of 2017 and the mother Vrinda is a homemaker. She has an older brother Aditya Rai who works as a merchant navy engineer. The younger brother of Bachchan, Aditya Rai, co-produced Dil Ka Rishta and wrote the script along with Bachchan. Bachchan went to Arya Vidya Mandir High School located in Mumbai where her family had moved to. Jai Hind College was her final intermediate school before she joined D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she scored a 95% on the H.S.C. exams. In her adolescence, she studied music and classical dance over the course of five years. Her most loved course was Zoology. Bachchan was a student of architectural studies when she was elected Miss World in 1994. This title launched her to the forefront of modeling. Her contract was lucrative in the form of Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc. as well as the L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. Her acting career began to a good start with her highly acclaimed roles on Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan turned into the face of New Bollywood with these films that challenged Bollywood's fundamental form of structure. Bachchan was crowned the New Queen of Bollywood due to her role in Devdas 2002, one of the most acclaimed Bollywood films. It also was the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Her performance was praised by the critics for her performance of Chokher Bali (2003), a dramatic film based on Rabindranath Tagore's book. In that same year she was also the sole Indian actor on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared part of Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan could bring her charisma and beauty in her debut English film. Her return to Bollywood was for Dhoom: 2 2006 before she released Provoked The Provoked True Story (2006). She married Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star, who is the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most influential people to one another.
